SVDSN offers a wide range of activities for our diverse membership. Activities focus on helping the group promote our goals of support and outreach, as well as building community for people with Down syndrome and their families.

Every month, the group gathers on the third Saturday, usually for dinner at a local restaurant or a park. These casual dinners enable families to exchange information, catch up with old friends, and make new friends. Please join the online group for announcements about upcoming gatherings.

Watch for notices of upcoming educational meetings for parents. These will spotlight teaching methodologies, experienced educators, and generally provide a place for parents to come and share experiences with one another.

Our Tween/Teen Group (ages 11-17) provides opportunities for kids with Down syndrome to socialize and play. Future activities will include bowling, hiking and other fun events! Siblings and friends welcome to participate in activities.
